Berlusconi and Gaddafi Fall Together (in different ways of course)

As the Italian Prime Minister, Silvia Berlusconi, steps down from his position after 17 years in power,–mainly due to numerous controversial issues surrounding his tenure–it is worth noting his relationship with the former leader of Libya, Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi, who was recently disposed from power and shot dead by Libyan resistance fighters in his hometown of Sirte. al-Gaddafi, of course, has made maritime agreements, among other deals, with Berlusconi to curb migrants from entering Italian territories. Nevertheless, before Berlusconi officially steps down, it is worth highlighting his relationship through this interesting segment of Gaddafi’s visit on Italy:
