#KıyıyaVuranİnsanlık : Humanity Washed Ashore

I don’t know what it will take to spur nations into collective action to figure out the roots of the migration waves, but I hope an atrocity like this (like countless others before it) can finally restore sanity to European nations and to those countries where the leaders are willfully oblivious to the plight of their people. May Allah bring peace and support to the families of the deceased.

At least 12 Syrians trying to reach Greece have drowned off Turkey after the boats they were travelling in sank.

An image of one of the victims – a young boy lying face down on the beach – has sparked an international outcry over the human cost of the crisis.
